Two Incredible Acts of Kindness

Erin kindness

Erin, Year 8, has shown true kindness and appreciation after a member of the public anonymously returned some money she had lost in Shepton Mallet.

Erin said, “I lost my Christmas money near the retail centre whilst on the way to a friend’s house. I searched everywhere but could not find it. I was really disappointed that I had misplaced the gift and I told Mum that I had lost the money. My Mum posted on Shepton Mallet Community Group asking if anyone had found the cash, but after a few days we presumed that it was gone for good!”

However, a fantastic act of kindness by a member of the community saw Erin reunited with her Christmas gift.
Erin said, “One morning an envelope came through the letter box with a note attached; someone had returned the money. I was so grateful that I have now decided to spend £5 of my money on food for the Salvation Army, helping those who are less fortunate than myself.”
