ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS DAY:

A Road Safety workshop was held on 7th March for Years 7-10.  Years 7 and 8 watched 'The Ghost Story' which highlighted the dangers of not paying attention when crossing the road and enabled discussions around not using phones and air pods. It also looked at other dangers such as using e-scooters and not wearing cycle helmets. The older year groups watched clips about dangers when in the car, the impact speed can have and dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs or being in a car with someone who is. The students interacted well and answered questions which were posed in the interactive parts of the workshop.
