Safeguarding

Safeguarding is always our top priority at Whitstone School.  We fully appreciate the responsibility that all of our staff have to keep students safe from harm, harassment or bullying whilst in our care, and to understand what to do if there are any concerns whatsoever about the care of or general well-being of any of our students.

All of our staff receive regular training and updates with regard to safeguarding, and there is a robust reporting system in place that all staff are able to access to report any concerns.

Students are spoken to regularly in lessons, assemblies, tutor times and relevant lessons about ways to ensure their own safety, what behaviour towards them is not acceptable and what to do if they have any issues or concerns about themselves or fellow students.

If you have any concerns about any of our students with regard to their safety or wellbeing, please speak to one of the Whitstone School Safeguarding Team:

Designated Safeguarding Lead: Kelly Gribbin

Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads: Rhiannon Bennett, Claire Latham
